Nothing beats down as an insulation material in very cold temperatures, but we also saw the need to optimize the insulation capability in humid weather since the conditions can change during an operation. We solved this by using a layer of synthetic insulation over the down filled in an offset box wall construction. PrimaLoft® Silver reduces potential cold spots, while retaining the insulating ability in wet weather. Over the shoulders in exposed areas, a thicker layer of synthetic insulation is used.

Temperature can easily be adjusted by opening the jacket or taking it completely off. The integrated shoulder straps will keep it in place even when moving.

Loss of heat is significantly reduced offering 360 degrees of protection by using additional down filled baffles at the neck, waist and along the two-way zipper. Non-Stop Defense Arctic Jakka Pro + also has a big, down-filled hood with a wide collar that protects your neck and face against cold and wind.

Multiple practical and easily accessible pockets allow you to store necessary equipment. On the outside, there are four insulated pockets, and two uninsulated pockets. On the inside, you have an insulated pocket and three mesh pockets that are ideal for drying clothes or keeping items warm. On the inside back, there is an additional mesh pocket that can hold a drinking reservoir.
